There are 3 components of Scene Setting
3D Preview Setting to customize your overall Creation Studio environment
AR/VR Player Setting to control how the project will be experienced by the player in AR/VR
Camera Setting to control the camera position, preview and take screen shots of the scene
Component 1: 3D Preview Setting
The 3D Preview Settings helps you customize your overall Creation Studio environment: 3D Preview, Volume, Perspective, Default Asset Duration.
Grid Color: is by default set to grey, but you can customize it to the color of your choosing. You can also unselect the checkbox if you prefer to hide the grid lines.
Ground Color: is by default set to grey but you can customize it to the color of your choosing. You can also unselect the checkbox if you prefer to hide the ground.
Axis visibility: is visible for all 3 Axis (X, Y, and Z). You can unselect the check box for each of the axis individually if you prefer to hide them.
Negative Values on the Y-Axis: is disabled which means you cannot place the asset below the surface Ground Level. You can enable the negative value on the Y Axis by selecting the checkbox if you want to position your asset under the surface.
NOTE:
Please note that the Y-Axis is always dependent on how the Pivot Point is positioned in your 3D Model or Character. If you are uploading your own 3D Model, make sure to position the pivot point at the bottom center of your object so that when you disable negative value on Axis-Y, your 3D Object will stand above the ground
Please note that when you generate a 3D Model the Pivot Point is located in the center of the object. This means that if you have disabled the negative value on the Y-Axis, half of your object will be below the surface Ground Level.
Asset Name: is enabled which means you can see the Name of the Asset displayed on top of it. You can unselect the checkbox to hide the name of the Asset.
Volume: is adjstable with the scroller. You can also click on the Mute Icon to switch off Volume.
Perspective is set to 'Front' point of view. You can change it to 'Top' (Aerial View) or 'Back' (Behind your Scene) point of view. You can change your Perspective by panning or pivoting around your 3D Preview using your mouse. You can also use the Left Navigation Bar (Hand Icon/Tool) to change the vertical perspective, along with the Zoom in and out sliding tool.
Default Asset Duration is set to 20 seconds, which means that everytime you add an asset to the Scene, it will have an initial duration of 20 seconds. You can change the duration value in the Inspector window. Updating this value will also update the end time of all nodes where the 'Dynamic time' option is checked.
NOTE:
The duration of the Asset is also displayed in your time line by the lenght of your Asset Node. You can change the value directly from your timeline one Asset at the time.
If the scene's end time is longer than the Assets Default Time, the Scene's end time will override this default value for those items.
